Criteria for Consideration The criteria for election to the Athletic Hall of Fame include excellence in athletic achievement in a candidate's high school career and/or beyond. Candidates must have maintained a record of good citizenship. Athletes, coaches, and others who have made distinctive contributions to the athletic program are candidates for election. Only those athletes who competed for Western Reserve High School shall be eligible for election to the school Hall of Fame. Waiting period prior to election eligibility: • Athletes/Nominees: Must have graduated from Western Reserve High School at least 10 years prior to the submission of the nomination. (i.e. a 2013 graduate will be eligible for nomination after June 2023) • Coaches: At least 7 years since last coaching tenure or a current coach age 65 or over. • Teams: The last date of competition must be at least 10 year-to the submission of the nomination. 2025 WRLS Hall of Fame Induction The Western Reserve High School Hall of Fame Committee is now accepting nominations for the Class of 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction. The nomination window will be open through Friday, April 30 at 11:59 PM. A link to nomination information can be found by tapping the link in the description, or by visiting the "Red, White & Blue and Fan Zone" 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame Weekend is slated for September 19-20. The official induction banquet will be held on September 20th at A La Cart Catering following a public presentation that will happen the evening of the Blue Devils Week 4 varsity football game against McDonald.
