Western Reserve Schools are located in a rural community in northeast Ohio, in Mahoning County, about 20 miles west of Youngstown. The School district is located in two townships, and houses approximately 850 students. The administration, teachers and staff attempt to offer a progressive, developmentally based curriculum for all grades. The Western Reserve School District exhibits a great deal of pride from its history and long-standing traditions as it moves through the present and into the future.

2018-2019 Fee Schedule * Fees Due November 9* District Technology Fee $10.00 High School Computer Lab $2.50 per semester Parking Pass $15.00 Art 1 $6.00 Art 2,3,4 $12.00 Family and Consumer Science (Murphy classes) $10.00 each plus cost of project Industrial Arts classes $10.00 each plus cost of project Biology $15.00 Dissecting Kit $5.00 (if needed) Physiology $20.00 Chemistry $25.00 Physics $10.00 *Plus AP exam fee, IF student decides to take the exam. *AP test fee must be paid BEFORE the test is ordered (approx. $90) Band Instrument Maintenance $50.00 per year (Paid directly at Band, not office) Senior Class Fee $20.00 *This is for ALL WRHS graduating Seniors, including MCCTC students. *This fee pays for ALL Commencement and Graduation celebration expenses. Then we are looking for you! There will be multiple ways to contribute to this ongoing service to our students. Our students have many gifts and we want them to have full knowledge of what is available to them after high school, whether that requires a college degree, training in a specific trade, or even a part time job opportunity. for the 2019-2020 school year will be held
 Kindergarten Registration Wednesday, April 3, and Thursday, April 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Reserve gym (old Western Reserve High School).  Call Western Reserve Elementary School at 330-547-4100 to schedule an appointment. Registration and screening will take approximately 40 minutes.  NOTE: Children must be five years old by August 1, 2019, and are to be present at registration for screening. In order for your child to be registered, you must bring in the following, required documents: original birth certificate, immunization record, custody papers (if applicable), current driver’s license AND three proofs of residency at the time of registration: One form from Group 1: house closing papers; deed; mortgage document; apartment/home rental lease or agreement Two forms from Group 2: current utility bills (not a phone bill) or a tax statement Mahoning County Educational Service Center STUDENTS
