Western Reserve Schools are located in a rural community in northeast Ohio, in Mahoning County, about 20 miles west of Youngstown. The School district is located in two townships, and houses approximately 850 students. The administration, teachers and staff attempt to offer a progressive, developmentally based curriculum for all grades. The Western Reserve School District exhibits a great deal of pride from its history and long-standing traditions as it moves through the present and into the future.

2018-2019 Fee Schedule    * Fees Due November 9* District Technology Fee     $10.00 High School Computer Lab  $2.50 per semester Parking Pass  $15.00 Art 1   $6.00 Art 2,3,4 $12.00 Family and Consumer Science (Murphy classes)   $10.00 each  plus cost of project   Industrial Arts classes  $10.00 each plus cost of project Biology  $15.00   Dissecting Kit    $5.00 (if needed) Physiology $20.00 Chemistry  $25.00 Physics  $10.00 *Plus AP exam fee, IF student decides to take the exam. *AP test fee must be paid BEFORE the test is ordered (approx. $90) Band Instrument Maintenance $50.00 per year (Paid directly at Band, not office) Senior Class Fee $20.00 *This is for ALL WRHS graduating Seniors, including MCCTC students. *This fee pays for ALL Commencement and Graduation celebration expenses. Consumable Supply Fee K-8th Grade   20.00 (FYI for HS parents with elementary/MS siblings) Western Reserve Student Career Exploration Are you a community member or know of someone who would be willing to donate a few hours of their time teaching our students about your field of work? Then we are looking for you! There will be multiple ways to contribute to this ongoing service to our students. If you would like to participate in any way, please notify Mrs. Matos at (330) 547-0818 or email at dmatos@wrls.k12.oh.us. ANY AND ALL careers, trades, jobs are welcome! Our students have many gifts and we want them to have full knowledge of what is available to them after high school, whether that requires a college degree, training in a specific trade, or even a part time job opportunity. Please consider this chance give back and educate our youth in the possibilities for their future
