Western Reserve Schools are located in a rural community in northeast Ohio, in Mahoning County, about 20 miles west of Youngstown. The School district is located in two townships, and houses approximately 850 students. The administration, teachers and staff attempt to offer a progressive, developmentally based curriculum for all grades. The Western Reserve School District exhibits a great deal of pride from its history and long-standing traditions as it moves through the present and into the future.

Then we are looking for you! There will be multiple ways to contribute to this ongoing service to our students. Our students have many gifts and we want them to have full knowledge of what is available to them after high school, whether that requires a college degree, training in a specific trade, or even a part time job opportunity. The Western Reserve Local School District is aligned with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center (MCESC) Business Advisory Council. The MCESC Business Advisory Council is focused on educating Mahoning Valley students, parents and educators about the wide range of career opportunities available, making connections with resources to pursue a pathway and providing support to ensure success.
