WESTERN RESERVE HIGH SCHOOL-spiritwear
Western Reserve Schools are located in a rural community in northeast Ohio, in Mahoning County, about 20 miles west of Youngstown. The School district is located in two townships, and houses approximately 850 students. The administration, teachers and staff attempt to offer a progressive, developmentally based curriculum for all grades. The Western Reserve School District exhibits a great deal of pride from its history and long-standing traditions as it moves through the present and into the future.   Mahoning County Educational Service Center STUDENTS Business Advisory Joint Statement: 2019-2020  The Western Reserve Local School District is aligned with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center (MCESC) Business Advisory Council. The MCESC Business Advisory Council is focused on educating Mahoning Valley students, parents and educators about the wide range of career opportunities available, making connections with resources to pursue a pathway and providing support to ensure success.   Vision  A well-prepared workforce that contributes to the economic development and improved quality of life throughout the Mahoning Valley region.  Mission To advise, support and empower Mahoning Valley educators in delivering the instruction and experiences students need to develop relevant, in-demand employment skills as part of their academic and technical preparation for college, careers and/or military service.

General News & Events Board Meeting : Thursday, May 13, 2021 @ 6:00pm in Cafe' Pursuant to Senate Bill 197, that was passed by the Ohio legislature and signed by Governor DeWine, Boards of Education are permitted to conduct board meetings electronically. As a result, the School Board of the Western Reserve Local Schools will conduct its regular meeting of the Board on December 10th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. electronically. The meeting will not be held at Western Reserve Local Schools, which is the usual regular meeting site. The new location of the electronic meeting can be accessed at:
